Man's best friend

Whether it is or isn’t man’s best friend, the dog is certainly among the best and most faithful animals there are (competing with horses and dolphins 😉 ). Don’t know about you, but I’ve always preferred them to cats!

Below is a cute video showing a soldier returning from Afghanistan and the reaction of his canine friend. It’s almost as if the dog was crying of happiness, she almost went crazy! You’d probably never see a cat do something like that. 😉

Ever seen a drop of water bounce?

water dropHere’s a great video that shows how a drop of water actually behaves, shot at 2000 frames per second and displayed 67 times slower. When the drop hits the water surface, it’s not completely connected to it, because there is a thin layer of air between the two bodies of water, but as the air is pushed aside, an important part of the drop merges with the water surface, and the rest bounces. And this happens all the time until the drop is completely dissolved! Isn’t it amazing?

I’m proud to announce the new geaTV v2.0, a completely redone and classified video playlists site. Until yesterday, geaTV was a single page, and now it’s a sub-site and the pioneer with the new visual identity of geaNostra. Also, in the meantime, a few dozens of new videos have been added.
